| I almost forgot I had a Xanga site... As usual a lot has changed since my last post. Since then I've moved to Indiana- not too far from Louisville, KY... and moved back. It's a long story- too long to go into. Anyway, I enjoyed my time away. Fell in love for the first time, but unlike normal people I didn't fall in love with a person- I fell in love with a city. My heart came to life in Louisville like never before, and it was a beautiful feeling. Being back in Tulsa has been good and hard all at the same time. God has a few things for me to finish up here... then who knows where life may take me? Anyway, I'm trying to enjoy the season I'm in... We'll see what happens next. Happy Holidays!! | | |
| So, I'm turning 23 today... It feels pretty anticlimactic. Not that I expected today to be special or anything. In other news my brother is home on vacation. Yay! It's been a lot of fun having him here. My brother's girlfriend flew in yesterday for my birthday weekend, and I'm so glad she's here too. So, I'm leaving for Indiana on Monday... looking forward to that. I'll be there for this next semester, then I'm coming home for Christmas before heading to ORU. Yes, I am going to ORU. It's something I thought I'd never do, but God put it on my heart and I'm actually excited about it. Well, I guess that's it for my semi-annual post :) | | |
| Some things have changed since my last post. I'm no longer in a relationship the "wonderful young man" I was dating... however, I am still going to his little brother's wedding in two weeks. So, yes, I am flying all the way to Alabama and spending a weekend with his family. That should be pretty interesting... I'm moving to Indiana in August. I'll be living there with my soon to be sister-in-law. I'm so excited... it's time for a little adventure again. I'm turning 23 soon. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly years pass as I get older :) I hope everyone who still reads this is doing well! | | |
| Today was a beautiful day. I went to church with a very good friend, and then she took me out to lunch. We had some good girl time... it was so refreshing. I needed a day like today. You know, sometimes life gets so hectic and you just need a day to stop and enjoy life... this was one of those days. On a side note, it's spring break. The wonderful young man I'm dating flew home for the week, and I miss him. *sigh* | | |
| I had the sweetest Valentine's Day... the date was exactly what I'd secretly hoped for down to the last detail. God is so good. So... not only did I have a wonderful V-Day, but I also had two very good friends get engaged on that day. I'm so happy right now... | | |
